Earlier in the month I was scrolling Instagram and came across a post by a collaborative project named Connect the Dots, the Instagram reel was promoting a then upcoming set of shows in NYC around the first week of October, I was immediately drawn by the crafty D.I.Y. nature of the video using paper cutouts. 6 members comprise the project: Massi, Alice, Janet Mouse, Kiss Nóri, and ixosyd. Connect the Dots latest song, aptly titled “. . .” came out on October 16th, and it’s a brightly colored soundscape, sporadically layered with the voices of people saying “connect the dots”. 

It’s so intricate and sounds so beautiful through my headphones, I can’t stop trying to picture what a live performance would look like when the song plays. At the time of writing this, they have teased a surprise for Halloween on their official Instagram page’s story, hopefully it’s news about a new project connected to the new song, or even better another song.
