In this exclusive Music Mondays article we share a brief breakdown of anarchy's latest track "Five" and why certain tracks hit a sweet spot.

One of the biggest favors you can do for yourself is to habitually act with intention; the instant benefits to countless aspects of your life is a good enough reason, but it also is just a good look, and it can be easy to forget to live and work this way. Some of my favorite artists who display a clear level of intention in their art are: Polo Perks, Dani Kiyoko, thayerperiod, and I could go on for probably way too long. Some other music I listen to- or maybe passively hear others listening to, I often perceive as almost lazy in comparison, though it rarely ever is I’m sure. The song I wanted to write briefly about may sound lazy to new ears, but it couldn’t be further from it, in delivery, writing, well everything, just real art made with intention.
Five by anarchy was produced by kyuro and mvtthww, and it’s the most motivating song I have listened to this month, with lines like
“and I stack my money till it’s safe and tall then I divide it
I had dreams when I was younger for this shit now I’m excited
all the bad shit that happens in my life I’m gon’ survive it”.
I really love how this one is mixed and how it sounds in my headphones, perfect music really, there is just so much energy and heart packed into two very tight minutes, and I cannot get enough.
