LORDHERETIC reporting live once again from Music Mondays with yet another a special treat. Las Vegas native and genre-bending ONI INC. dropped their first solo single in almost a year titled “That’s My Secret, Cap: I Always Have Anxiety”. Many of you probably know by now but for those of you that don’t, ONI has been a major player in the trap metal and alternative space mixing aggressive trap metal with bouncy edm and dance phonk beats. So without further ado let’s go ahead and dive into this amazing single.

Right off the bat we are greeted with a gradual build up to a punchy edm beat. ONI laughs and gets his intro out the way and immediately sends the lambs to slaughter. The vocal range and power this man has is something truly unique, I have a hard time naming anyone else that sounds like this. Very much reminds me of European club music, ONI’s singing vocals on this track only back that up. A brief respite in the form of Mr. ONI looking for his phone, shit even had the damn vibrate sound sampled in. All in all I’m never unimpressed with ONI and I’m forsure not going to say that I am now. If you’re a fan of shaking your ass off or just dancing until you can’t anymore, this song was made for you. A spastic rave fueled fever dream could only exist in its entirety of 1 minute 46 seconds, any longer and any show goer would collapse from exhaustion. Seriously, a delicious offering from this underground veteran, and a completely solo one at that. Roma Johnson definitely tapped into the sweet spot with ONI for this because this just gels so effortlessly. Anyways, I’ll try to quit salivating over this one and just tell you, listen to the fucking track. I think everyone needs a bit more of this high energy in their lives.
