Freshly released only five days ago as part of Barlie’s impressive campaign to release a barrage of tracks all of 2025 which will doubtlessly establish Barlie’s presence in the scene throughout the rest of the year and beyond. 

BLEACHMYBODY explores through metaphor and wordplay the concept of coming clean but it’s something altogether less of a confessional but a mantra of radical acceptance and it glows with a colourful bravado. This track fits all the prerequisites for a shower song where “I gotta bleach my body-mend my soul” is a particularly strong earworm but every line is nicely befitting, never losing warmth and the tempo stays consistent. 

BLEACHMYBODY puts you right in the action, and goes from strength to strength lyrically. Each bar has impact and the AdLibs are perfectly placed. Barlie talks us through his world with no shortage of swag. The delivery is spot-on without being the least boring or redundant. It's quite the opposite- it’s immersive and although it nods at a lot of influences it isn’t derivative either.  It’s fresh, uplifting and ultimately cutting edge underground.
