In this exclusive Music Mondays Interview we caught up with seezenz for the first time since 2023. We discussed everything from their roots for those unfamiliar, new updates and 2026.
11/14/25
Zomb: First things first for those who aren't aware, who are you, where are you from and how old are you?
seezenz: Hi I'm seezenz I'm from West Virginia and I'm 22 years old
Zomb Slays: It's been quite a while since we've last spoke for Music Mondays, let's give everyone a refresher for those who may not know. What was it like growing up in West Virginia? What were your early years like?
seezenz: It was cool! nice and calm. My early years involved a lot of music, wwe, and some other movies/shows that I liked. It was fun, I also liked motocross and monster jam since I was very young too.
Zomb Slays: Honestly sounds really similar to my own if i'm honest, love that. What were some of your earliest experiences and memories with music? Who were you listening to early on?
seezenz: That's awesome.Yeah I remember quite a few things but my dad introduced me to Michael Jackson's song beat it when I was like 6. We were at this restaurant and the music video came on one of the TVs and I just remembered that being the first real moment I was like yeah this is super cool and I wanna do this too. I was listening to a lot of bands too. Three days grace, Linkin Park, etc my dad would play a lot of stuff around me. like oasis, Seether, staind. bands like that. One of my other biggest inspirations that I've been listening to for a very long time is twenty one pilots. I've been inspired since I was like 13.
Zomb Slays: Absolutely stacked list. It's really crazy how our parents influence our tastes and how it comes back around. So entering your teen years and high school when did you initially start creating music?
seezenz: Yeah that's so true. I started making music when I was around 13 or 14. I would play around with it. years later once I moved from West Virginia to Pennsylvania I got a USB microphone at like age 16 or 17 then I started messing with a program called audacity. From there on I found FL studio and I've used it ever since.
Zomb Slays: Audacity is such a legendary start. So moving into FL Studio, when did you actually record your first song that you wanted to release?
seezenz: it took a while to get used to it but I remember making some songs with friends from school that we thought were so good then looking back on it now it's so funny. but after a while once I found out my style I was probably about age 18 once I was comfortably posting a bunch of songs.
Zomb Slays: It really is so cool to look back on older projects like that. So once you hit 18 you were pushing out songs, did you go by seezenz back then? and how did you come up with your current artist name?
seezenz: I went by twenty4thward back then, and then my name changed to zenny but around early 20 I'd say I became seezenz. then I dropped an EP called seezenzchange
Zomb Slays: Sometimes that evolution early on is such a good thing. So pushing forward to the present day, how long does it usually take you to write, record and release a song?
seezenz: it really depends on how I'm feeling at the moment but it could take anywhere from 1 hour to 1 month.
Zomb Slays: Absolutely, sometimes tracks are different when it comes to the process. We mentioned before that it's been a while since we've last spoken, what is your favorite song you've released or been a part of as of right now?
seezenz: Oh for sure you gotta trust the creative process and one of my favorites I've released since we last spoke has to be one from my recent project called "just stop" it's from a recent ep called "brace for impact" that I released everywhere.
Zomb Slays: You've been a crazy run in 2025 with your recent releases, we'll drop a link for anyone that is curious. One of the biggest developments has been the creation of batclique. Tell us a little bit about how that came about and what inspired you to push for something like that?
seezenz: I came up with batclique cause I like spooky stuff and it's like the idea of my friends and I making music together and they like spooky stuff too so I came up with "batclique". originally I was gonna use batclique as my producer name but it came to be a community of my friends and I so I'm very proud of that.
Zomb Slays: I love that, collectives are such an essential part of the underground scene. Swinging back around to present day, what are some of your plans for the rest of 2025 and heading into 2026?
seezenz: I want to release more self produced music and more music videos for sure I plan to keep working with many other producers and artists as well.
Zomb Slays: Sounds like a solid roadmap 100%, need more self production on the MM Podcast as well. Speaking of collabs, who are some artists you'd like to work with in the future? Can be underground or mainstream.
seezenz: I want to make more music with my friends darkioo and bloody runtz for sure along with all the other homies but I definitely dream to work with untiljapan, southsidesilhouette, and protect.
Zomb Slays: Great list there absolutely. Stepping away from music and creating for a moment, what are some things you do to keep yourself grounded if you aren't creating?
seezenz: I like playing video games, watching movies, tv shows, cartoons, and listening to music. I like to keep myself comfortable cause my anxiety be killing me but for the most part I'm chilling, getting by. I really do love video games though, I think they are so cool and fascinating.
Zomb Slays: It really is about the little things that keep you sane, definitely a great thing to fall back on. My last question for you is, who are your current top 5 artists of all time? Any order.
seezenz: That is very true. Top 5 of all time has to be Michael Jackson, lucki, twenty one pilots, MF Doom, and glokk40spazz.
Zomb Slays: I love that list, there's so much variety. Before we log off do you have any shoutouts or words of motivation? The floor is yours.
seezenz: My advice is to please follow your dreams and do what you love! Never ever give up! Always keep going, shout out to batclique and all my friends, love you.
Zomb Slays: Extremely well said, I completely agree. Thank you and much love for taking the time to sit down with MM.
